What began as a shared passion for artistry and construction has grown into a full-service coatings and finishes company. Meet the Team
James Strohmeyer — Founder & Lead Artist/Project Manager
James is an accomplished decorative painter and faux finish artist with more than 30 years of experience transforming interiors through artistry and technical mastery. His portfolio spans Venetian plaster, frescoes, trompe l’oeil, and high-end faux finishes that bring depth and luxury to walls and ceilings. Over his career, James has worked with homeowners, builders, and commercial clients, often collaborating with designers and architects to achieve one-of-a-kind results.
Beyond his technical skill, James approaches every project as an artist, personally overseeing each step from concept through completion. His philosophy is that walls and finishes are not just surfaces, but opportunities to tell a story through texture, pattern, and color. Clients consistently value his ability to deliver both precision and imagination, making spaces that inspire, impress, and endure.

William Martin — Co-Owner & CEO/Operations Lead
William’s passion for design began in childhood, working alongside his mother, a professional interior designer by trade. This early exposure sparked a lifelong appreciation for architecture, artistry, and craftsmanship. Although his career path first led him into management and talent strategy at global professional services firms, William never lost his love for creating beautiful and functional spaces.
At Wet Paint Productions, William brings together his organizational expertise and creative passion to ensure every project runs smoothly — from consultation to completion. His balance of operational leadership and personal appreciation for design helps bridge the gap between artistry and execution, ensuring clients enjoy both a seamless process and exceptional results.
